No two feeding journeys look the same—and that’s exactly why every consultation is personalized and rooted in compassion.
As an experienced RN and IBCLC, I specialize in a wide range of lactation and infant feeding concerns. During your consultation, we may address any of the following areas and more:
Latch and positioning
We’ll assess and troubleshoot latch issues and explore feeding positions that are comfortable and effective for both you and your baby.
Weight gain concerns
If your baby isn’t gaining weight as expected, we’ll work together to understand what’s happening and create a supportive, individualized plan.
Tongue and lip tie concerns
If you suspect a tie might be interfering with feeding, I can evaluate symptoms and help you determine the next steps—without pressure.
Low milk supply
We’ll explore potential causes and develop a care plan to protect and increase your milk supply using evidence-based strategies.
Engorgement, oversupply, or plugged ducts
I can help relieve discomfort and restore balance if you're experiencing fullness, leaking, or recurrent clogged ducts.
Frequent feeding
We’ll talk about what’s developmentally normal, how to manage cluster feeding, and ways to make this phase more manageable.
Sore or cracked nipples
Breastfeeding shouldn’t be painful. We’ll work to find the root cause and create a path to healing and comfort.
Late preterm and post-NICU support
I offer feeding support for babies who need a little extra help after arriving early or spending time in the NICU.
Feeding multiples
If you’re nursing twins (or more), I’ll help you find rhythms and routines that make feeding sustainable and successful.
Induced lactation (adoptive or surrogacy support)
Yes, it’s possible to make milk even if you didn’t give birth. I provide step-by-step support for parents inducing lactation.
Back-to-work planning
I’ll help you create a custom pumping and feeding plan to support your return to work and maintain your milk supply.
Chestfeeding support
I offer inclusive, affirming care for all families, bodies, and ways of feeding.
Pump fitting and flange sizing
An effective and comfortable pump fit makes all the difference. I’ll ensure you’re using the right size and setup for your needs.
Prenatal breastfeeding planning
Get ahead of the game with a prenatal session focused on preparing for breastfeeding, building confidence, and answering your questions.
Bottle refusal
If your baby is refusing bottles, I’ll guide you through gentle, proven techniques to make feeding transitions smoother.
During a consultation, the IBCLC will assess your baby's latch, feeding patterns, weight gain, and oral motor function, as well as address any concerns you have.
You'll receive personalized guidance and a written care plan tailored to your family's needs.
Office visits typically last one hour and home visits tend to last 1-1.5 hours for initial visits and 1 hour for follow up visits. We will address 1-3 concerns in one visit and there will be ongoing follow up as needed, some of which can often be quick virtual check ins.
